Cost Estimator

The Cost Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and complete proposals for our WTI General Contracting department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity labor and material take-offs
• Analyze project plans and specifications
• Compare competitive trade bids
• Review material usage on trade bids to ensure correct material coverage/usage rates.
• Prepare complete and accurate detailed cost estimates/models.
• Prepare complete and accurate proposals with adherence to the company's policies/procedures and contract agreements.
• Collaborate with key personnel across various departments such as Construction Managers, Program Managers, Sales Representatives, and Field Technicians.

Experience:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• Three-Five Years related experience and training (construction, commercial roofing systems, estimating)
• RS Means experience
• Line-Item Estimating
• Excel a must
