Overall Responsibility
The Enterprise Information Services team is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Developer. The mission of this job is to develop BI dashboards, cubes, and reports which will be adopted cross-functionally and throughout our organization to enable business users to easily find, manipulate, and evaluate data, making informed decisions to optimize value.
We are an AWS cloud and Azure Team.
In this role, you are expected to work collaboratively with others to collect, store, transform, and analyze large varieties of data sets. The ideal candidate has an intuition for building and optimizing reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
This role is expected to be performed mainly from our headquarters in Miami, Florida, within the Technology department, and reports to the Data Engineering Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participates in business analysis activities, work with Product owner to understand and clarify reporting and dashboard requirements and advice as needed
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting all reports and dashboard development
- Serve as subject matter expert on library of reports and dashboards as well as train or educate end users as needed
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements to implement reports and dashboards created from multiple data sources
- Performing analysis of data sources and processes to ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take responsibility for timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborates with other teams to design, develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and dashboards to drive key business decisions
- Testing of all Business Intelligence artifact to eliminate/reduce technical debt
- Ensuring adherence to defined engineering standards and best practices for all developed components
- Seeking to understand the domain in which we operate
- Working with Product Owners and other Engineers to craft solutions to business problems
- Production support of current Reporting and BI cubes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience – Supply chain, distribution, logistics, procurement, CRM, and finance.
- Demonstrated mastery of Tableau and Power BI reporting tools for at least five years
- Understand complex data structures and communicate the data transformation from source to report
- High proficiency in SQL backed by at least five years of experience
- Familiarity with database design and architecture for data warehouse is a plus

- Experience analyzing high volumes of data for multiple purposes in a dynamic environment
