Job Description:
Provide technical expertise, process documentation, process improvements, troubleshooting, and strategic planning for Wash processes for the Fuel Systems facility.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:
This is a staff position which is expected to function as a specialist/expert with respect to a Wash processes. Provide specific technical phase of the planning function for chemicals, tooling, maintenance, and plant engineering to ensure Wash processes meet the Cleanliness standards.
Develops, analyzes and manages Wash systems. Provides leadership in developing department capital and expense plan for the Wash systems.
Trains and develops training programs for Wash operators.
Engages in creative problem solving to address operational issues for the Wash processes including ergonomic/ safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, quality concerns.
Works with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage projects to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to produce quality products.
Provides the application, procurement, processing, installation, and capability of new Wash process equipment.
Provides manufacturing technical support in Wash process control and Cleanliness certification.
Coordinates the purchase and application of Wash processes, controls, and related equipment to ensure the latest technology is being used to increase efficiency and economy of Wash processes.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.
Requirements
1. A college degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or its equivalenis required for this position
2. Requires at least 5+ years of chemical process experience and have a mechanical aptitude.
3. Must have a thorough knowledge of Wash processes and equipment.
4. Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
5. Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
6. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
