Housekeeper

Provide housekeeping service to on-site rental housing (dorms, houses, and common areas)

Job Location: Batavia, IL

About Us

• Mon - Fri: 8 am - 4 pm
• $17/hr.
• Paid Bi-weekly; Direct deposit is available
• 11 paid holidays per year

Requirements

• Documentation of eligibility to work in the US
• Cell phone with voice and text
• A valid driver’s license & good driving record
• Own a vehicle & valid insurance on the vehicle (for short distance traveling on-site)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean on-site dorm kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms (including making beds)
• Clean and help turn dorm rooms and houses prior to move-in day
• Provide routine housekeeping service to houses while occupied
• Follow instructed procedures for the use of chemical cleaners in order to prevent damage to surfaces
• Properly utilize equipment (change/empty vacuums, vacuum belts)
• Notify the Supervisor concerning the appearance, cleanliness, and overall status of the job site

Qualifications and Skills

• One (1) year of cleaning experience in residential cleaning preferred
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion for an extensive amount of time
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (full shift)
• Ability to visually inspect surfaces for dust, dirt, streaks & stains
• Capable of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing & pulling heavy loads
• Must be able to lift and/or carry forty (40) to fifty (50) pounds
