QVT Family Office is an investment manager based in New York, with a strong focus on in-house developed software. QVT believes that having a capable technical team is key to its long term success, and that engineers can provide extraordinary value in all aspects of the business. We strive to find candidates interested in applying their computational skills to build a variety of tools and analyses that will be relied upon by everyone at the firm. Being part of the tight-knit engineering team means that successful candidates will own projects from their inception, to their deployment, and beyond. Our engineers create and improve the proprietary systems and applications which are an integral part of our business. This role offers significant opportunities for exposure to all aspects of investing and advancement for talented individuals.

The role is currently fully remote but will likely change to a hybrid work schedule in mid-2022.

We're looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong intellectual background

- High level of proficiency in at least one programming language
- Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Attention to detail
-2-3 years of experience
-Graduated from a top tier computer science school

The following skills are a plus, but certainly not required:
- Experience with .NET software development (Rider, Visual Studio), C#
- Experience with git source control
- Basic knowledge of finance and statistics
