Job Title: VoIP Administrator Job Location: Columbus, MS Overview: Abacus Technology is seeking a VoIP Administrator to provide telephone and network support for Columbus AFB. This is a full-time position. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Design, configure, install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and test voice systems, devices and equipment. Present and defend voice system, design, and technical choices to internal audiences. Perform installation and maintenance of security patches on voice devices. Provide Tier 1-3 support for voice systems. Assist, advise, and troubleshoot voice system and operations. Qualifications: 3+ years experience managing VoIP technology and environments. Must be Security+ certified. Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field a plus. Must have experience in a Cisco VoIP environment. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) administration and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC). Familiar with Avaya VoIP solutions and technologies. Must be highly motivated, a self-starter and customer oriented with ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment. Effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
