Scientific Laboratory Technician

Key responsibilities:
Conduct experiments utilizing standardized test methods, operate laboratory test equipment in Chemistry laboratory. Maintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation to characterize the performance of laboratory prototypes.

Keep Engineers and Scientists well informed of project status and results of laboratory investigations and provide information for decision or changes. Support development and testing of client products, analysis and interpretation of results / data and electronic database management.

Skills required: Associates Degree in a chemistry/technical field required. Background in science or technical field required. Basic understanding of experimental error and laboratory safety. Data processing skills are a must. Must be able to evaluate visual criteria accurately and consistently against a standard scale.

Ability to write reports and recommendations based on experimental results. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills required, advanced skills preferred. Good initiative and strong sense of urgency. Good written and oral communication skills.
