PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE- PT
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Associate is primarily responsible for classroom and event set ups and breakdowns, maintaining records and other documents related to inventory, as well as program room and equipment cleaning and maintenance. She/he also acts as a liaison between presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a level of support and customer service. This is an entry level position. Will train the right person.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Set ups and breakdowns for all programs, events, and meetings.
- Communicate directly with Kripalu faculty, visiting presenters, presenter assistants and guests, providing a high level of customer service.
- Maintenance program rooms and work areas (i.e., cleaning of blankets and yoga mats, mopping floors, distribution of yoga props, etc.)
- Receive and store incoming supplies and equipment
- Support Supervisor and Leads by ensuring clear communication regarding successes and challenges during shift hours and before shift changes.
- General office duties as assigned (i.e., paperwork, record keeping, filing, photocopying, printing)
- Provide coverage or perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, within production and in other areas of the organization when needed.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential, as is the flexibility to adjust schedule according to the needs of the events.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or work on feet for extended periods
