We are currently searching for an Industrial Electronics Technician to be based out of Byesville, OH. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for ensuring that plant equipment and facilities are kept in good working order, enabling a continuous production mode. Other responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Organize, and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on equipment uptime and to resolve quality and production related issues in the spirit of continuous improvement, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.
  • Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of electrical equipment, wiring, and resources.
  • Work with maintenance and production personnel in analyzing and troubleshooting equipment failures.
  • Cleary communicate maintenance situations from one shift to another, including to the Maintenance Manager, Plant Superintendent, and Plant Manager.
  • Plant wide accountabilities for operational aspects including progress toward quality and production goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping.
  • Other tasks as determined by the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications include:

  • Associate's degree in an electrical field is required (ASEET, equivalent or higher)
  • 3-5 years electronics troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment desired.
  • PLC / HMI programming experience required.
  • Knowledge of A/B and Siemens PLC's strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge in AC/DC drives.
  • Knowledge in induction heating and welding equipment.
  • Knowledge in Servo Drive Systems.
  • Knowledge in automated systems and/or robotics.
  • Knowledge in 3-phase power systems.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
