Media Planner
MRM is looking for a Media Planner who will lead the strategy and development of media campaigns for primarily B2B clients. The ideal candidate is a thought leader, self-starter, and strong communicator with a bias for action and accountability. This candidate can demonstrate a proficiency in task execution and providing deliverables by deadlines established.

Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy: Ability to compile a strategic recommendation based on client goals & Initiatives, audience and consumption research, previous campaign learnings (If applicable) and creative message.
- Campaign Execution: Management of campaign flowchart to ensure campaigns run as recommended, understanding of campaign structure within different platforms, able to build out campaigns, own the campaign strategy and budget allocation, works with AMP to ensure that pacing Is on track and able to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Creative Understanding: Involved In creative messaging conversations with other disciplines and provides Inputs/Ideas, can speak to all creative placements and how they Interact together In the digital space, Identify new creative trends within the Industry
- Reporting/Tracking: manage and create tracking, understands and can map out KPIs to broader business objectives, able to pull and understand campaign performance, understand the Importance of pixels, UTM's and Pixels for proper campaign reporting
- Optimization: responsible for creating optimization recommendations and presenting them to the client, can teach and execute how to make optimizations within the platform
- Audiences: Confident In speaking to and understanding of specific audiences which makeup each platform, can conduct audience development research with some guidance from various tools
- Finance: Management of client campaign budget, Oversees and approves client Invoicing, closing out media hard costs upon campaign completion
- Administrative: RFP Management for campaign recommendations, Ensure ATB's & IO's are properly filled out and sent out In a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, statistics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising
- A relentless desire to monitor and optimize to performance objectives
- Strong presentation skills including storytelling and executive presence
- Ability to make sense of data and manipulate it via basic tools like Excel
- Willingness and desire to grow and learn
