Senior C++ Software Engineer - Fixed Income

Our client is a global hedge fund this role is located in their Miami Office. The Fixed Income & Commodities Technology (FICT) group is responsible for providing firm wide live risk and P&L for all Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit and FX products.FICT provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:

• Take part in the development and enhancement of the FICT backend distributed system.
• Ensure FICT provides continuous, uninterrupted, firm wide risk and P&L.
• Work closely with other global FICT research and tech team members.
• Help integrating the new FICT analytics library into the existing system, using up to date technologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience developing in C++
• Experience developing and maintaining large backend distributed systems
• Excellent understanding of distributed messaging systems
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Good understanding of various design patterns
• Experience working with Git / SVN
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• Solid communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Credit pricing and risk analytics
• Experience with Fixed income pricing and risk analytics
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, micro services architecture
• Experience with Gemfire, Redis and MongoDB
• Experience with CI/CD
