Privacy Program & Analytics ManagerOverview of Position

The Privacy Program & Analytics Manager works closely with the Sr. Privacy Director, Sr. Privacy Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer, and all members of the Enterprise Privacy Office to help run the day-to-day operations of the program, including developing, implementing, and/or enhancing program metrics, policies, technology, processes, and a program covering the privacy of, and access to, protected health information (PHI), Personal Information (PI), and sensitive personal data in compliance with US federal and state laws (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA), GDPR, PIPEDA, and other relevant global privacy protection laws and regulations.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Supports the overall implementation of a strategic and comprehensive enterprise privacy program

  • Identifies, collaborates, and executes opportunities for program process improvements within the privacy framework

  • Maintains privacy metrics, trends, and analytics across the privacy program to support mitigation of privacy risks

  • Identifies the relationships between multiple sources and types of data and organizes this information to facilitate effective data analysis and reporting

  • Monitors and maintains the organizations privacy program forms, policies, procedures, and processes to make sure they stay up to date

  • Develops and delivers ongoing privacy training to team members and management as needed

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 2+ years in a related business role (e.g., Data Analyst, Privacy, Program Manager, Process Improvement, Marketing, Journalism, Communications)

  • 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience and expertise within the privacy function of a large and complex organization.

  • Privacy certification(s) or willingness to obtain in first year on job e.g., CIPP-US, CIPP-E, CIPM, CIPT, CHPC, and/or Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) and/or other healthcare industry related credential

  • Proficiency in output visualization application software (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, Domo)

  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systems

  • Experience in business / data analysis and data forensics (e.g., identifying and uncovering data gaps)

  • Experienced with data quality, interpretation, and modeling (e.g., identifying data quality issues and required corrective actions)
