PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales, the Vice President of Public Markets, Midwest Region is responsible for B2B sales targets within a specific region or geographical territory.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales, the Vice President of Public Markets, Midwest Region is responsible for B2B sales targets within a specific region or geographical territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the sales process at the direction of the Senior VP of Sales to meet individual quotas and contribute to the regional targets.
- Drive new customers through the process from leads to closed business either as a direct sale or a co-sell through collaboration across business lines and/or geographical territories.
- Work with existing customer base to identify and execute cross-sell opportunities.
- Business Development activities to obtain new customer and partner relations by developing and maintaining prospect and customer list based on strategic market data and other sources for sales leads.
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce.
- Stay informed, and build and expertise on market trends, competitors, and our product portfolio.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Must reside in the Midwest Region (St Louis, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Chicago)
- Proven track-record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Results-oriented with natural ability to open doors
- Problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen
- Natural communicator with excellent negotiation, persuasive and interpersonal skills at all levels including effective presentation skills
- Highly driven with enthusiasm to meet high sales targets and to cope under demanding pressure
