Quality Manager

Quality Manager position:

• Maintain and update as necessary, a certified and registered ISO/AS and FAA approved Quality Management System. Develop, maintain and post Quality Metrics.
• Establishes and maintains a system to inspect/audit supplier processes, in-process product and all finished goods assuring accuracy to design specifications.
• Responsible to maintain a certified calibration system for all inspection gages.
• Develops and maintains an effective organization through the training, motivation, and review of quality personnel.
• Provides guidance and direction to employees to assist in their professional development.
• Lead the team in analyzing non-conformance/non-compliance occurrences, improving root cause analysis and corrective action for process & product related concerns and/or customer complaints.
• Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system as necessary and work with inspection, engineering and supplier personnel in support of the quality function.
• Manages all discrepant material and parts throughout the company.
• Submits discrepant material and parts to engineering and suppliers through various submittal forms and work closely with them in mapping out disposition activities.
• Customer interaction/focus regarding materials and parts quality as an element of assuring customer satisfaction.
• Engage teams and suppliers to help establish a Continuous Improvement Culture and execute advanced problem solving activities.
• Act as liaison with external sources to facilitate events planned.
• Works in addressing RC/CA with suppliers and internal nonconformance.
• Reviews affectivity of corrective actions to ensure documented action and initiatives were effective.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations.

High School graduate or equivalent required. A 2 year technical degree a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with ERP systems. Minimum of five (5) plus years' experience in an aerospace quality engineer position, and/or aerospace quality oversight position.
