Unarmed Security Guard: EVENT SECURITY JOB / WEEKENDS

We are looking for an Event security officer for an entry-level position. Hosting an event requires a tremendous amount of planning, which includes keeping guests safe. Safety is a priority for us; therefore, we work in collaboration to assess the security needs of events. To ensure safety and the safety of guests, it is key to properly anticipate situations that may call for crisis intervention. As such, our skilled security officers are trained to engage in conflict resolution, assist guests in case of an emergency, maintain guest capacity, and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the premises. Access points are also considered, and metal detectors utilized at point of entry to your event.

Job Duties:

• Screening guest for unauthorized items
• Patrol the perimeter of the venue to protect attendees and prevent unauthorized people from getting inside
• Secure/Guard facility and other designated areas
• Monitor parking lot
• Observe: Remain alert, look out for any suspicious activity
• Insuring minors are not consuming alcoholic beverages
• Maintain a safe and well-organized event.
• Crowd control - monitor hall capacity

• Report: Create Incident Reports and Notify management team of any incidents

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in the U.S
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. (e)
• Bilingual (Preferred)
• Must pass pre-employment background check

License: California Guard Card

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Shift : Weekends - Evening

Hours : 5pm - 1am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
