Data Architect (Remote)

A recognized healthcare network in New York City has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Data Architect with their team.

Responsibilities:

The Data Architect (Remote) will
  • Provide insights in building blueprints and roadmaps for platform that simplify and standardize core systems
  • Analyze business and technical requirements of products, systems, and services to set strategic technical direction, within platform, and solve complex and mission critical problems
  • Research, analyze, design, propose and deliver solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
  • Build messaging, event-driven, data pipelines, and cloud-native systems and data architectures
  • Approves and modifies designs and architectures to ensure compliance
  • Holistically integrate new and existing components and capabilities
  • Assist with the simplification and rationalization of core systems
  • Handle application modernization and rationalization
  • Drive cohesion in business and technology decisions on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within Leadership, Agile Release Trains and Scrum teams
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to teams across the technical organization

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Data Architecture experience, including Master Data Management, data processing and transformations, OLAP Architecture, Data Management and Governance
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Sound understanding of various Technology domains, such as application, data, infrastructure, and security architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of Software Architecture, contemporary design practices, and modern development principles and practices
  • Strong understanding of domain driven design, Event-Driven and micro services architecture
  • Knowledge of Integration Architecture, patterns and practices and integration tools
  • Prior experience building internet-scale web services and industrial-grade APIs
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS, NoSQL, multiple data formats, unstructured/semi-structured data
  • Significant experience working in Agile/SAFe environment
  • Hands-on with Agile tools, such as Rally, RTC, JIRA, Miro etc
  • Hands-on experience with Architecture Modeling and Diagraming tools (Lucid, MEGA,Visio etc)
  • Solid understanding of Mobile app development, Cloud (AWS/Azure etc), DevOps, RPA, Machine learning and AI tools and services
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, presentation and story-telling skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience in Healthcare and/or Hospital setting
  • Experience with building patient engagement and clinical platforms/products
