We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Environmental Health and Safety Senior Manager. In this position you will manage Dymax NAs workplace health, safety, and compliance needs by developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing health and safety programs/policies in compliance with OSHA/US EPA, federal, state, and local agency/departments. Also, by focusing on industrial hygiene, identifying, and remediating hazardous conditions and work practices that exist in the workplace. You will:

  • Implement and manage compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies/programs for compliance to EPA/DEEP and OSHA regulations
  • Develop a responsive, innovative, customer-advocating, EHS team by exercising strong leadership and judgment skills to acquire, develop, train, coach, cultivate, and manage talented personnel
  • Lead emergency response preparedness and operations by developing, and maintaining contingency plans, and conducting EHS training programs including plan development and response coordination
  • Ensure full environmental compliance by overseeing and conducting environmental assessments to ensure compliance of environmental standards and regulations
  • Develop and manage industrial hygiene programs by overseeing risk reduction activities associated with employee chemical exposure, noise reduction, ergonomic assessments/programs
Manage Dymax safety performance measures through incident reporting database system/programs, and by conducting and coordinating EH&S investigations and taking corrective actions

Requirements

You should have:

  • BS/BA degree or its equivalent IATA and HazMat certification preferred
  • 10+ years of equivalent work experience in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry
  • Experience in with Hazard and Risk assessment, Process Safety, OSHA, Emergency Response, EHS Management Systems, and Incident Investigation
  • OSHA 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER certified
  • Knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS) and ICS 100,200, 700 and 900 certified
  • Experience leading from a hands-on approach
  • Experience of containment and cleanup of hazardous materials release techniques, and directing emergency response operations

Salary Range: $109,000 - $145,000

Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Dymaxs total compensation packages for employees.
