Purpose of Job:

Execute all front counter operations, ensuring all prepared products meet the restaurant and company standards of quality and excellence. Provide personalized, exceptional guest service at the level of performance established by management.

Responsibilities::

The Front Counter Staff is responsible for providing consistent product and quick, efficient service to both customers and coworkers. Assists in the success of the restaurant by ensuring guest satisfaction and efficient order process while adhering to company standards for quality, value, service and cleanliness.

Qualification Standards::

Qualified candidates must have excellent customer service skills; exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness. Ability to handle cash and count back change quickly and accurately.

Accountability::

Operates front counter area in accordance with established company standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for an accurate cash drawer throughout shift. Answers customer questions about product ingredients and preparation; suggests appropriate items to compliment customer orders. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all restaurant employees to foster and promote a cooperative and pleasant working climate. Communicates all significant issues, both positive and negative, with management staff.

Essential Functions::

  • Pleasant and alert to customer needs; greets guests as they enter restaurant and throughout their stay.
  • Process customer transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
  • Completes final assembly and delivery of orders.
  • Keeps entire front counter area clean and sanitary throughout shift.
  • Prepares treat products in adherence to company standards and procedures quickly and accurately, while following all health and safety standards.
  • Operates and maintains soft serve equipment and registers properly and safely.
  • Stocks and executes proper rotation of products.
  • Informs immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff or shift leaders.
