We are looking for manufacturing Machine Operators for these shifts:

  • First Shift: 9:00am-5:30pm and 10:00am-6:30pm


FULL-TIME | Monday – Friday + Some Weekends Required

We are hiring reliable individuals with mechanical aptitude. Experience running production lines and manufacturing machines is a huge plus but not necessary.

This is a good job for someone who is mechanically inclined and may be just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

POSITION DETAIL

Machine Operators ensure efficient production in our Packaging Department. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of industrial packaging machinery. Our operators work in a safe and responsible manner following established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-speed, production-oriented environment
  • Follow standardized processes and adhere to safe work practices
  • Set up machinery to ensure proper equipment startup and operation
  • Operate and monitor machines to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform basic maintenance or promptly report issues
  • Monitor for quality control and follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures
  • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality with minimal wasted time and materials
  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

Skills and Abilities:

  • Mechanical experience or production machine operating experience
  • Understanding of production procedures

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Physical stamina, strength, and ability to operate industrial machinery
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must pass pre-employment background check (TWIC credentialing standards apply)
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a non-temperature-controlled industrial plant environment. These conditions can vary from hot and cold extremes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving production machinery and vibration. Moderate noise can be expected from forklifts, machinery, trains and trucks. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Regular work will be performed near other workers and production machinery. Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking up to 8 – 10 hours per day
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds at chest height
