Benefits Analyst


LHH is actively seeking a Benefits Analyst to work with a company located in Houston, TX. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in benefits, HRIS (UKG), and payroll. This is a contract position with a pay rate of $35 to $50 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule : M-Thur 9:30am-3:30pm core working hours that they MUST BE ON SITE! Fridays are flexible.

  • 5+ years of HR within Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll experience
  • Degree highly preferred
  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN UKG (back-end user)
  • MUST BE ADVANCED IN EXCEL- BI reporting, Vlookups, Pivot tables, etc.
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Open Enrollment set up and vendor management
  • Vendor Billing
  • Compensation Planning – reporting and analytics
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of compensation, financial fundamentals, statistics, or cost analysis required
  • Ability to make sound judgment with excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making ability
  • Detail-oriented and precise with excellent organization skills



  • Administer all employee benefit plans
  • Assuring health and welfare benefit plans
  • Ensure accuracy of benefit enrollment
  • Develop and maintain benefit processes with benefit vendors
  • Prepare benefit communications for annual enrollment
  • Coordinate annual benefit renewal processes across all benefit programs
  • Assist employee with benefit questions
  • Run reports and create benefits reports to monitor benefit plan enrollment
  • Oversee all retirement benefit programs including defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution plans and SERP
  • Review all employee health and welfare benefit communications
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Assist employees with benefit claims issues
  • Ensure benefits and employee health programs
  • Support all benefit program administration
  • Escalated benefit inquiries from employees
  • Enroll new employees in benefit plans
  • Assist employees with benefit questions
  • Assist in employee benefits communications
  • Manage benefit administration of fully-insured medical plans
  • Handling benefit inquiries where benefit administration precedence is
