JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION
The ECRS Sales Director (SD) is a seasoned, well-connected executive with a deep understanding of the Convenience Store (C-store) and Grocer verticals who will help take our Unified Transaction Logic™ - Catapult® products and services to decision makers in the small to mid-sized C-Store & Grocer market. The SD provides senior sales leadership and account development to the direct sales team. This position is made up of elite individuals who are trained in the art and science of effective selling. These sales executives are tasked with the primary responsibility of establishing profitable new direct customer relationships for ECRS. The SD serves as our corporate face and voice in the market. For this reason, each SD must have a strong understanding and belief in our products, services, and processes, and possess the proper talent to represent ECRS in the marketplace. Each SD is expected to dramatically contribute to delivering effective business results for the corporation. This is a remote employment position with moderate to heavy travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all sales activity and overall customer relationships within assigned Strategic Accounts
- Act as the team lead to an SE on assigned New Relationship Account and/or Managed Account
- Travel to regional and national trade shows, national prospecting to seek new business, and to maintain existing assigned account relationships
- Faithfully represent ECRS' Mission and Values Statement in daily work
- Establish win-win relationships between ECRS and its customers and to serve as customer's advocate
- Meet or exceed assigned quota and metric commitments
- Establish the value of each ECRS product or service with prospects and customers
- Strive daily to grow ECRS's market-share and industry domination
- Manage, maintain, and grow existing customer business in new and assigned accounts
- Present a positive and professional demeanor and exhibit harmonious conduct both within ECRS and externally
- Meet all internal training requirements and certifications in the time frame provided
- Always maintain a professional approach and attitude, including professional appearance, etiquette, trustworthiness, and reliability
- Act as a positive force within ECRS
- Track all sales activity in the ECRS CRM
- Create a strategic sales plan in coordination with the Managing Director of Direct Sales
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in combined education and professional experience
- Sales experience with Tier 2 and 3 Unbranded Convenience Stores & Grocers and over 5 years of experience in a related industry or business function
- Sales experience with Tier 2 and 3 Grocers and over 5 years of experience in a related industry or business function
- Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a record of safe and competent driving
