We are seeking a Inpatient Nursing Coordination (RN) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • As the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor of Inpatient Nursing Services you will assist with department activity to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of Horizon.
• You will assist with coordination of the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
• You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.
• You will promote a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
• You will provide leadership and assists with administration functions for new RNs with particular focus on newly licensed RNs or those who have not previously been in an acute care setting and serves as the subject matter expert/resource for this population on the applicable shift.
• You will assist with orienting/evaluating new staff during the Orientation period and beyond.
• You will ensure that Nursing Care is based on the Nursing Process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
• You will assist with staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure with the TN Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med /Surg preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire or promotion.
