Overview:
The Datacenter Monitoring and Controls Engineering (DMCE) group is responsible for critical environment monitoring and industrial controls application deployments at new datacenters. The team is seeking an application engineering program manager to develop a program lifecycle for the Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS) for Compnay Data centers. The BMS provides a critical function to monitor battery usage and health within the data center utilizing SCADA or EPMS platforms. This role requires knowledge of SCADA/EPMS platforms such as Eaton Foreseer or Schneider Electric PSO. This role will require auditing of existing data center BMS applications and how they are deployed, evaluating new BMS designs, and provide recommendations for retrofits of existing data centers and best practices for deployment to new data centers. This is a global role will require interfacing with datacenter operations, datacenter design engineering, and governance teams to influence and adopt best practices or design changes.

Deliverables for this role will include full analysis of existing BMS deployments, recommendations for bringing existing deployments to the newest BMS standard, project management for possible upgrades/retrofits, developing a program for BMS deployment and service for datacenters around the globe.
