Job Description

Get Real Health is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of experience. The right candidate for the role is highly motivated, has extensive experience facilitating Scrum events, promoting and educating stakeholders, and supporting empiricism. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering leaders, and product managers to execute high-impact complex technical projects.

Scrum Master’s day to day responsibilities would include and are not limited to:

• Run daily stand ups
• Work with the product owner to move product backlog items into sprint backlog items and ensure they are converted to working product by removing impediments.
• Facilitate teamwork between the development teams and communication with the stakeholders
• Ensure that the team is inspecting, adapting and self-organizing as the situation demands.
• Ensure that the scrum ceremonies including sprint pre/planning meetings, daily scrum and sprint review meetings are organized and time-boxed.
• Track progress and help the team achieve their commitments by asking the right answers in the daily stand-ups when problems are identified, work with team/Squad to develop corrective actions
• Report the status of scope and schedule
• Adept at using Jira to author user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, guarding against the accumulation of technical debt
• Ensure that the external interference on the team is limited
• Fosters an environment that emphasizes knowledge sharing and group participation
• Adept at using Jira, confluence, office suite and MS Project
• Must have excellent leadership, communication and writing skills
