Position Overview Do you enjoy using your broad technical expertise while working with business domain experts and application developers to bring advanced products to market and facilitating making the dream of home ownership a reality for millions of Americans? You will lead a small domain-aligned Service Delivery team supporting application development teams who lead a portfolio of roughly 100 applications to provide planning, engineering, and delivery of business scalable infrastructure solutions. We are searching for a technically savvy Service Delivery Domain Lead who excels at interacting with both technical authorities as well as business leads at all levels of the organization. **This position is on a hybrid work schedule in McLean, VA, 2 days in-office and 3 days remote** Our Impact We collaborate with IT and business leadership and teams to advance our technical capabilities, remediate risk, and successfully deliver our most visible programs We partner with all IT teams as well as business application teams to ensure the delivery of technical solutions that enable Freddie Mac to bring new business capabilities to market We bring diverse teams together and create partnerships while using our technical and interpersonal skills to enable effective progress and positive outcomes Your Impact Delight our customers by providing creative solutions, effective trouble shooting and great customer support and service Partner and collaborate with a wide spectrum of IT and business partners to design, build, solve and enhance application solutions Act as an honest broker between app and infra teams to ensure consistent and timely delivery of efficient technical solutions and projects Qualifications 8+ years professional experience and 2+ years of leadership experience in Information Technology 4+ years of championing change, technical project management/implementation and infrastructure engineering 4+ years of effective communication (oral and written) and collaboration across complementary teams in a matrixed environment 4+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering skills in the following areas: virtualization, storage, operating systems, middleware, databases, network, disaster recovery, information security, and cloud computing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience Keys to Success in this Role Excellent collaborator, communicator, and fantastic teammate Be quick-on-your-feet and comfortable working across organizational and technical boundaries to find solutions to nebulous problems Provide outstanding customer service and support Broad technical infrastructure knowledge Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.
