About the Role
First PREMIER Bank is looking for an individual with an aptitude and understanding of all risk related specifics in relation to Treasury Services. The qualified individual should possess basic understanding of banking components, have strong writing skills, excellent communication, and a high regulatory aptitude to Nacha Rules, Reg E, and UCC laws. This individual must be able to problem solve through complex business models and perform research through the business workflow of Treasury Services. In addition, this candidate will perform periodic reviews and provide recommendations for improving efficiencies while maintaining compliance standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Know and understand the business model of each client, including the business workflow.
- Discern changes to the level of risk for any given client; compare any changes to regulatory trends and provide specific suggestions for mitigation methods to be applied.
- Perform ongoing enhanced due diligence to ensure third-party sender clients are performing appropriate due diligence processes with regard to their sub-customers.
- Ensure contractual, regulatory, Nacha Rules, policies, and procedures are all complied with when implementing a new client, as well as for all stages of client management.
- Stay informed of regulations that impact the Treasury Services department, including, but not limited to the Nacha Rules, Reg E, and UCC law.
- Formalize and maintain department policies and procedures to ensure they are compliant in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations, as well as the Nacha Rules.
- Research, prepare for and assist in responding to all internal audits and external exams.
- Research, administratively prepare, and respond to legal, regulatory and/or Nacha Rules-related inquiries and requests.
- Remain educated and well-rounded on all facets of Treasury Services, acting in the capacity of liaison between the different areas of the department.
- Analyze client returns for inaccuracies, negative trends, and increased volumes. Resolve according to department procedure.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and written skills while being able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Bachelors degree preferred in Accounting or Finance and/or 2-3 years of work experience in a banking, or a financial organization.
- Capacity to learn quickly and become proficient while adapting to change.
- Responsible to adhere to company policies and procedures while upholding to the PREMIER WAY.
