In this role, you will collaborate with DD&T leaders and business experts to re-imagine how R&D leverages DD&T to deliver our mission. You will work with these leaders and experts to develop and deliver an integrated R&D DD&T strategy. You will be responsible for translating the strategy and ambiguous information into actionable plans for senior R&D leaders. You will plan, guide, and coordinate work across functions to ensure sustained focus and timely delivery as we build global solutions. You will define and prioritize project activities, provide executive-level support, communicate with stakeholders, as well as elevate risks and issues, present recommendations, and implement modifications to plans as needed. You will understand and adapt to new opportunities and unforeseen challenges. You will help to identify commonalities across functional plans to support investment decisions in platforms, systems, and talent. You will lead effective meetings, manage change, and conflict, and develop forecasts. As part of the Data Sciences Institute (DSI) Business Operations team, you will report to the Head of DSI Business Operations.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lead by the R&D Distinguished Fellow in Data & Digital, you will work with R&D functional leaders and DD&T leaders to map out a plan to achieve the vision, considering value to the organization and patientsSynthesize complex information from various sources and translate into tangible plans, deliverables, and presentations to and for senior R&D leadersLead program operations of the R&D DD&T strategy by establishing scope, managing a program of deliverables, and aligning various project with overall strategy.Establish the appropriate infrastructure for long-term tracking of DD&T objectives, priorities, deliverables and KPIs.Monitor progress toward DD&T KPIs, intervening as necessary to ensure that delivery is on track to meet or exceed performance targets. Work with R&D functions to ensure delivery of activities in alignment with the DD&T strategy and overall program plan.Monitor activities in other parts of R&D and ensure awareness and alignment across functions.Lead risk management, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.Develop integrated view of budget and resource requirements necessary to deliver the strategy.Oversee communication planning with internal and external stakeholders; partner with broader communications teams to ensure alignment and tactical execution. Prepare documents/presentations as appropriate around the DD&T strategy.Partner closely with the DD&T Distinguished Fellow to develop and ensure execution of DD&T strategic plans, projects and commitments which drive operational efficiencies and connectivity across R&D and the broader Takeda organization.
