Sr. Core Java Developer
BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Sr. Core Java Developer at Jersey City, NJ.

Position Title: Sr. Core Java Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ 07310
Expected Duration: 6 Months Contract to Permanent.

Job Responsibilities:

* Knowledge of IBM Spectrum Symphony/EGO and related products.
* Experience with large scale storage solution
* Experience with GPU
* C/C++ development skills in a distributed environment.
* Familiarity with AWS ecosystem including EC2, S3, EFS, FSx for Lustre
* Experience with Apache Spark, ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana)
* Experience with CI/CD systems e.g. Jules, Jenkins and automation / DevOps best practices
* Hands-on experience building large-scale software systems.
* Experience with a major financial institution.
* Messaging Middleware
* Linux knowledge: kernel, storage, file system, process, system libs, container, common utilities etc.
* Experience with public cloud APIs (AWS, Azure..).
* Solid knowledge of Core Java (over 5 years of experience)
* Knowledge of scripting languages (shell scripting, Python)
* 5+ years of working experience in IT industry specifically in a development capacity.
* Self-motivated and responsible.
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Strong documentation ability.
