Frontend Developer

UpSellit builds personalized ecommerce marketing experiences for thousands of the web's biggest brands. Our strategy team identifies new opportunities for websites to increase sales and our front-end team brings those ideas to life. You'll be working with a range of companies like Samsung, Marc Jacobs, Autodesk, and KitchenAid to help them personalize their online shopping experience.

You're a software engineer that understands ecommerce and can help us grow our suite of website personalization and remarketing solutions. From database level to core server solutions to client-side web technologies, we can guarantee that no two days will be alike. This is a fun, multi-faceted job where people who see things differently are rewarded and everyone is able to make a big impact on the future of the company.


What we expect:

You should have 5+ years of experience working in Javascript, HTML, and CSS. You'll be working closely with our designers to make sure every campaign is perfectly on-brand. You'll be coordinating with our strategy team to make sure you understand the nuances of our personalized engagements. You'll be collaborating with our talented team of engineers to grow your skills and come up new solutions to unique situations.


Responsibilities:

  • Build customized marketing solutions for ecommerce sites using our suite of ecommerce software
  • Help expand our suite of ecommerce tools to create innovative new campaigns
  • Design, develop and deploy, high-volume scalable web applications with Javascript and Java
  • Participate in system design, architecture decisions and lead regular code reviews
  • Work in a team-oriented environment focused on enhancing your skills
  • Help refine and adapt our core algorithms to a changing web environment


Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Javascript, HTML and CSS
  • Familiar with object oriented design, design patterns and data structures
  • Experience with IDEs and Version Control
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
