About the role:

Join Takeda as a Manager, Sales Team Effectiveness where you will work closely with the US Hematology Sales leadership team, Marketing, Business Insights & Analytics, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Learning and Development to manage important projects and bring business strategy for best-in-class performance. You will also serve as a commercial team link to ensure the delivery of operational support is tailored to meet the Hematology sales team's needs, while also maximizing efficiencies and effectiveness across the business unit. As part of the Hematology sales team, you will report to the Sales Force Effectiveness Lead for US Hematology and will deliver operational solutions to increase the effectiveness of the sales team, helping them achieve performance goals through the management and coordination of work streams and projects.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead projects that provide clear vision and focus while ensuring agreement on priorities, the Sales team's needs, and Hematology market dynamics

  • Recommend business and process improvements that accelerate US Hematology growth and maximize Salesforce effectiveness

  • Monitor sales and performance to provide insights that identify additional opportunities to improve sales, access, and execution

  • Ensure pull-through of Sales, Marketing, and CLnD projects within the field

  • Be the field expert related to sales operations and procedures and facilitate Salesforce training to ensure efficient use of processes

  • Orchestrate national sales calls to ensure meaningful and beneficial topics are covered

  • Maximize communication through the Weekly Newsletter by bringing forth topics of interest

  • Champion Learning & Development programs for field sales employees working with Sales and L&D teams to define needs, development of content, and learning programs.

  • Revamp resources to ensure the execution, support, and field pull-through of our Hemophilia Alliance contracts

  • Help with the planning and project management of Sales Meetings/POAs for the BU, including agenda development, communications support, and project management

  • Manage internal platforms including our Hematology Share Point and Microsoft Team sites

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of field business plans and quarterly business review templates

  • Expert related to field-facing systems including T-Link and RED applications

  • Support training and usage of Takeda's CRM application

  • May be asked to partner with Business Insights and Operations to provide insights and feedback related to Market Research Projects

  • May be asked to support the development of Incentive Compensation plans designed to support main priorities and provide appropriate Salesforce

  • May be asked to provide end-user support for sales teams oriented reporting and technology

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

  • 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of Sales Operations or Rare Disease sales experience

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint is important

  • Project management skills

  • Demonstrate written, verbal, and presentation

  • Experience providing training to large audiences

  • Experience prioritizing projects to deliver with impact

  • Manage large cross-functional projects

  • Travel: up to 25%
