Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as Quality Control Specialist. This role will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all products entering and exiting our facility to ensure high quality of products. A successful candidate will have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Prior experience in perishable produce, agriculture, or distribution industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, manage, and update internal Quality Control protocols and programs.

• Analyze, score, and report on each order that is received and shipped.

• Evaluate and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements consistently.

• Submit samples to Food Safety and laboratory for testing.

• Create and verify product labeling.

• Assist as back-up for inventory count and repack processes.

• Assist in other Quality Control and Operations projects as needed.

• Create and present recommendations to streamline production processes in ways that heighten quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of professional work experience.

• Ability to lift boxes up to 40 lbs. and ability to bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach in a warehouse environment.

• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong skills and experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

• Willingness to grow and scale with our growing company.

• Good judgement and ability to make decisions in timely manner.
