Pricing Specialist

Do you have a demonstrated ability of tackling challenges and thriving in a fast-paced environment? If so, Robert Half has an immediate need for an ambitious Operations Processor who is detail-oriented and deadline-driven to support an organization in the Retail industry. The primary responsibility of the Operations Processor is to book loans into the banking platform system and process all essential items required for commercial and consumer day-to-day loan processing. Besides the primary tasks, you will work with lending and commercial/consumer loans operations. This long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity is based in the West Coxsackie, New York area.
Responsibilities
- Keeps clientele confidence by maintaining mortgage loan information confidential
- Develops codes, status dates and loan information for reporting when necessary
- Settle payment corrections and reexamine billing statements
- Learns and maintains knowledge of different loan programs and corresponding computer system codes
- Authorize new loans, loan renewals, extensions and modifications into database
- Upholds status and information within processing software system
- Provides outgoing wires and cashier's checks
- Approves reports, monthly payments and accrual adjustments
- Watches email, voice mail and other communication and answers as needed
- Adjusts payoff letters and department invoices
- Maintains department-specific spreadsheets, reports and reviews monthly scrub reports
- Sustains information as accessible by sorting, organizing, and filing documents
- Proceeds payments, advances and payoffs
- Finalizes and returns verification of mortgage requests
- At least 2 years' experience with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations
- Skilled in document management, process transformation, and workflow automation programs/r/n/r/n - 1 year mortgage experience strongly preferred
- Well versed in financial institution platforms
- Practical knowledge of order entry
- Price Quotations experience highly desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of Purchase Price Variance
- Price Sheets experience
- Adeptness in Purchase Price Allocation
- Contract Pricing experience
- General familiarity with Selling Prices
- Price List experience preferred
- Price Quotes experience preferred
- Possessing an understanding of word processing and spreadsheets is desired
