Machine Operator - Hardinge T-42 CNC

What a great opportunity for an experienced machinist! We are looking for someone to set up and operate two T-42 Hardinge Machines, while also operating additional single spindle CNC machine for secondary operation(s). You will be responsible for prioritizing work in your area to meet daily production goals. If you are self-directed and collaborate well as part of a small team this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Organize production orders in the work center
• Measure and visually inspect finished parts for compliance with drawings and to ensure that parts are satisfactory in every respect
• Operate single spindle machine for secondary operations
• Maintain clean and clutter free work environment (mop, organize, empty oil separator)
• Change tubes, collets, chucks, and stamps as necessary
• Scan production orders and send the programs to the machines
• Perform secondary operation on parts, such as cleaning and sanding

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Milling machine/ CNC machinist experience
• Experience using micrometers
• FANUC experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints/ drawings preferred
• Self-motivated and takes accountability
• Able to work accurately with high level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Good computer skills
• Able to work independently with little direction
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand, walk and reach throughout an 8-hour shift
• Good manual dexterity
