Sr. Engineering Architecture Analyst with Security Clearance

CSA+Capstone is seeking a Sr. Engineering Architecture Analyst to serve as the overall operations manager and shall have the thorough knowledge to create plans to assure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and/or networks in a globally dispersed and hot/hot resilient distributed computing environment. This position is contingent upon award. Responsibilities * Perform operations, maintenance, continuous monitoring, and advancement of agency computing systems as well as the analysis, evolution, and replacement of these systems. * Provide Operations and Maintenance, monitoring and analysis of all production networks and systems, staging and testing networks and systems, workstations, and mobile devices used in the management and operations of the agency's distributed computing environment. * Provide support and training for deployments of enhancements or new technologies and documentation. * Provide development and maintenance of products and solutions using a variety of program languages and Microsoft applications by following the standard software development lifecycle to include planning, analysis, design, development & implementation, testing and validation. * Support the migration of selected agency-wide applications to an alternatively hosted (cloud) services provider. * Support and maintain disaster recovery capability for critical systems that will ensure access for all agency users in the event of failure at any provider location. * Support the migration of data storage to a virtualized infrastructure. * Support the planning and execution of hardware and software refresh cycles * Support and maintain the hardware and software for COTS and custom-built application infrastructure. Qualifications * Masters, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. * 10 years of related experience * Must have extensive experience coordinating with program and project leaders to analyze IT system and network architecture. * Must have the knowledge and skill to clearly identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues. * Must be able to effectively conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues. * Must be able to quickly resolve issues and create an architectural vision This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
