Materials Associate

DCI Donor Services is seeking a Materials Associate to join our team! We are looking for candidates who:

Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold:

1. Maintains the receipt, shipment and storage of all incoming specimens and donated human tissue.
2. Prepares laboratory specimens for designated departments/locations prior to laboratory analysis and testing.
3. Rotates on-call schedule for deliveries occurring after normal business hours and on weekends.
4. Receives, inspects and inventories incoming materials.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One year of experience in a laboratory, tissue baking or related field, preferred.
3. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
