Information System Security Engineer with Security Clearance

Visit arcfield.com for more details. Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's accessibility tools and mechanisms. The Sponsor seeks a responsive, resourceful, and efficient individual to provide System Security engineering support for accessibility equipment, applications, and infrastructure. Specifically, the customer is looking for someone with strong system security engineering skills to bring capabilities together in a secure manner for the deployment/integration activities. The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) must have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as tracking and monitoring skills. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited, to the following: * Provide technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal customers in support of equipment, applications, network and information security systems. * Design, develop and implement security requirements within the organization's business processes. * Provide technical and policy interpretation and guidance regarding information security issues in support of NSM and ICD 503 accreditation activities. Ensure that operational security is maintained for information systems. * Develop and maintain A&A documentation (SSP, Security Test Procedures, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, etc.) and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance attained ATO for implementation. * Provide technical direction in implementing defense in depth and Zero Trust strategies for sensitive workloads. * Identify deficiencies/weaknesses discovered in customer's systems and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and non-compliance of systems, including infrastructure. * Utilize applications to support audit and continuous monitoring functions to ensure the security posture of the system. * Perform Insider Threat mitigation, and alignment to NSM, IC and NIST Standards. * Participate in project review meetings and provide technical cyber security guidance when necessary. Qualifications * Active TS/SCI w/poly * Bachelor's (or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, scientific or technical discipline) with 8-10 year's of relevant experience (or MS 6-8, PhD 3-5) including 3 years in the IC. * Well versed in a variety of hardware, application and infrastructure technologies and architecture * Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals * Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's A&A processes and systems * Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment * Experience work with scanning tools such as Rapid7, AppDetective, and WebInspect * Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self starter Desired Skills: * Certified Cloud Solutions Architect * Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), EC-Council * ITIL Certificate - Foundation Certification in IT Service Management * Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) * Experience with assistive technology
