Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

-Log & distribute colleague uniforms
-Coordinate with Security and Talent and Culture in the issuance of Uniform Garment bag and slot for new colleagues and the deletion of terminated colleagues
-Utilize uniform software to track Uniform Inventory
-Conduct colleague uniform inventory
-Fix buttons, rips, etc. on colleague uniforms
-Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of uniform room and laundry facility
-Receive, handle, charge for and ensuring timely return of Guest Laundry
-Assist with pressing services as directed by Housekeeping Management
-Assist with valet services for VIP guests
-Carry out various functions within the Laundry department
-Sort soiled linen, label and make ready for pick up
-Load / unload washing machines and dryers
-Receive linen coming out of laundry machine, sort and separate
-Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
-Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
-Report necessary maintenance items
-Following all safety and sanitation policies
-Refresh guest rooms by creating an inviting return for our guest
-Replenish ice buckets and glass water bottles
-Make up of rollaway beds
-Refresh guest rooms by creating an inviting return for our guest
-Other duties as assigned

Your Skills and Qualifications:

-Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry an asset
-Seamstress experience an asset
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
-Highly responsible & reliable
-Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
-Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

-Constant standing and walking throughout shifts. May occasionally exert up to 30 pounds lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Visa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
