JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The General Manager oversees and is responsible for the overall management of the LSC facility. The General Manager will oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures with a major concentration of the Facility. The General Manager is the organization’s second-in-command and responsible for inspecting and improving the efficiency of the business and Facility. The General Manager is a key member of the Facility’s senior management team and is accountable for supervising the entire organization reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The ideal candidate will be an experienced and efficient leader, able to maintain control of diverse and ambiguous business operations.

Essential Functions

  1. Oversee the operations of the Facility from determining and ordering product supply, health code regulations, cleaning and licenses requirements, managing, scheduling and overseeing all employees.
  2. Create Fun and positive work environment for Facility and staff.
  3. Make sure all areas of the Facility is fully staffed for each weekend Event.
  4. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for the Facility
  5. Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of staff (Café, site staff, parking attendants, admissions workers, janitorial crew, etc.)
  6. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  7. Train, coach, schedule, and oversee employees, and go over all discipline actions as necessary
  8. Explore, cultivate and manage relationships with partners/vendors who service the facility including those in support of the Facility
  9. Develop procedures and processes necessary for the efficient and smooth operation of the Facility
  10. Oversee handling of customer questions and requests
  11. Coordinate the delivery and payment of vendors who support the facility and café
  12. Conduct financial reviews of facility revenues and expenses and track and report on performance vs targets with CEO.
