An effective Endeavor Assistant Project Manager will be:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you are on the fast track to becoming a full-fledged Endeavor Project Manager. While assisting our production team you will learn all you need to know to manage your own pipeline of projects. The primary role of the Assistant Project Manager is to help our production team as they guide our homeowners and crews through the construction phases of roofing, siding, window, and painting projects. You can expect to meet with customers and crews (as needed) for on-site pre-construction meetings where you will gather all details and information to aid in scheduling and ordering your project. Efficiency during pre-construction is key to an enjoyable and convenient experience and we always aim for fast and effective work to get our customers scheduled and materials ordered at an urgent pace without making mistakes. We hold ourselves and our team to the highest standard so we can realize our fullest potential for our customers. You will be logging information into an online project management system - used for internal communication as well as homeowner updates - consistently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Have a clear understanding of each project you are working on with your Project Manager
  • Kick-off projects and ensure the correct scope of work is being executed by our install partners
  • Oversee active construction projects and document installation with photos
  • Make informed decisions based on project scope
  • Pick up and deliver materials as needed during installation
  • Document change orders during installation and report back to PM for approval
  • Post city permits on-site and set ladders for inspectors
  • Provide high-quality customer service to our customers and installers at all times
  • Complete quality assurance inspections with customers at the end of each major install
  • Document punch lists and work with installers to close out projects in a timely manner
  • Communicate with non-English speaking installers


What Will Make You Effective In The Role

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of exterior remodeling practices, materials, methods, and systems
  • Basic ability to read and understand project scope, budget, risk, opportunity risk and quality management
  • Strong working knowledge of roofing, siding, window, painting, carpentry, stucco, and gutter installation
  • Strong communication skills, bilingual is a plus
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Strong judgment to process inbound information and take action that prioritizes the customer and the company
  • Ability to balance hourly, daily, and weekly schedules, maintaining an up-to-date shared calendar with your team
  • Proactively identify potential obstacles and needed contingencies prior to project start and put practical plans in place
  • Promptly and professionally respond to information requests via text, phone, email, and/or software
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies to enhance customer experiences
  • Maintain a professional appearance and clean vehicle at all times, conducting a monthly vehicle inspection to identify regularly needed maintenance
  • High level of integrity

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience managing roofing, siding, and/or window projects
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to carry and set ladders (up to 40ft)
  • Able to work on a roof and not afraid of heights
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass Federal background check and drug screening (upon offer)
