Job Description

An Information Assurance Engineer job in Bloomington, MN is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of security issues including architectures, electronic data traffic and network access. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required.

Information Assurance Engineer Job duties:

* Apply current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security.
* Handles a wide range of security issues including architectures, electronic data traffic and network access.
* Apply defensive functions (e.g., encryption, access control, identity management) to reduce exploitation opportunities of vulnerabilities, as well as conduct import/export reviews for acquiring cryptographic systems.

Qualifications:

* Clear understanding of systems CyberSecurity concepts, principles, and theories.
* Clear understanding of the system Information Assurance and Cybersecurity process.
* Clear understanding of security compliance verification and validation process.
* Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST SP 80053 or NIST SP 800-171.
* Ability to clearly recognize and report information relevant to Information system security compliance.
* Clear understanding of Microsoft Office applications, Windows and Linux Operating Systems security.
* Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
