The Garrett Group is seeking candidates to support an upcoming contract at 608 Air Operations Center (AOC) Support in Barksdale AFB, LA. This contract provides the 608 AOC specialized contract AOC Weapons System (WS) functional operators, technicians, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to augment and enhance forces and operations. Anticipated start date is June of 2022. AOC WS Configuration Manager Skills include: • must possess five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with or education in the following: o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated knowledge of Air Force C4I systems, AOC systems and software required Section 2.1.6; and
o Completion of Configuration Management II course or ANSI EIA 649 certification; and
o. At least two years of experience in AOC exercises or operations as C4I System Manager or Deputy C4I System Manager.
• The demonstrated capability of performing as a functional back-up the personnel specified above in Section 2.1.2 in the event said specified personnel is unable to perform due to appointments, leave or short-term absences, up to 30 days
• Certified as mission ready in an AOC or individually possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience working with AOC WS and familiar with Department of the Air Force Manual (DAMAN) 13-1 AOC Volume 3 Operational Procedures – Air and Space Operations Center, secure facility access processes
