Job Description

AmeriPro Roofing is Hiring Immediately for a Customer Service Representative to join our Account Management team! This position is On-Site Only at our Corporate Building in Downers Grove, IL. Customer Service will take ownership of an approved job turned in by a sales representative and make sure each homeowner understands the build process. You will assist with any paperwork needed to move the project forward, keep the homeowner informed of their material delivery dates, build time frames, and set payment schedules with each individual homeowner.

The ideal candidates for this position are: customer friendly, organized, professional, familiar with collections, and individuals who thrive in escalated situations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary, 42K-52K (based on experience)

Day-To-Day Duties:

  • Follow up with insurance companies for approval confirmation.
  • Follow up on jobs where paperwork turned into the office is not filled out correctly.
  • Follow up on jobs turned into the office that are placed on hold/cancelled to get the jobs back on track.
  • Process updates/Account Balance/ Closing calls
  • Collect payments from customers
  • Make 100+ outbound calls
  • Properly document the file about any workmanship concerns for review
  • Read Insurance estimates (summaries)
  • Selling additional trades Roofing, Siding, Gutters
  • Build rapport and trust with Homeowners (Under Promise and Over Deliver)
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Achieve daily and weekly goals
  • Use our in-house CRM Buildfly

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience in Customer Service preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years' experience in Collections preferred but not required
  • Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Effective time management & prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience
  • Efficient in Excel and CRM Platform Preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred not required
  • 21 years of age + with reliable transportation
  • Quick learning, energetic, passionate, positive, and self-motivated individuals
