Senior HRIS Manager
JOB DIMENSIONS:
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the human resource information management systems and guidance to management regarding system requirements based on company resources and needs. This position is responsible for the development and management of the company’s compensation process and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. CCP certification preferred.
Ø Minimum of five years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource management systems and compensation management; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ø SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
Ø Experience designing and implementing HRM Systems.
Ø Experience with system architecture; designing multiple separate system to interface with one another.
Ø Experience with process mapping related to system implementations
Ø Demonstrated project management skills are required
Ø Strong analytical and statistical skills are required; detailed driven individual with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture and summarize complex data.
Ø Experience with Cornerstone or other HRM/compensation tool strongly preferred
Ø Strong ADP financial system experience is strongly preferred
Ø Advanced MS office skills is required, especially Excel
Ø Experience in conducting job evaluations and compensation surveys, establishing salary structures, and developing salary budgets; Knowledge of a grading system tool, such as, Hay or Mercer or related tool, is needed.
Ø Experience in developing and implementing various types of compensation programs
Ø Experience improving compensation processes, programs and/or tools
Ø Experience in interpreting, applying, and explaining Federal, State, and local legislation in policy and practices
Ø International compensation experience / exposure is preferred
Ø Strong communication skills: ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization, including senior executives and support recommendations with credible research and analysis.
Ø Successful track record of collaborating within the Human Resources and business teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth, cost-effective execution of compensation processes.
Ø Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, matrix, and fast-paced environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and design of HRMS and other human resources computer applications and systems.
Ø Closely partner and collaborate with IT and Finance as a natural course of the role.
Ø Process and maintain periodic reports of employee record data, develop reports.
Ø Prepare, maintain, and update employee data for the HR management system.
Ø Maintains the systems in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Ø Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
Ø Lead the development of company compensation infrastructure including market pricing, job evaluation process and participation in external compensation surveys to provide detailed analysis on competitive position and trends.
Ø Develop and update the compensation plans, including salary structures, bonus programs, and deferral plan.
Ø Manage the annual salary planning and bonus processes, including developing/ testing/ implementing/updating system requirements, developing/updating guidelines, creating change management details, training HR and end-users for company and facilitating the HRMS system processes.
Ø Ensure accuracy, compliance with legislation and with key delivery dates, as well as appropriate and timely change management & communication actions.
Ø Work closely with our Payroll and Finance teams on all compensation programs to ensure error-free processing and payment as well as effective management of loans and taxes
Ø Develop understanding of compensation programs and compliance requirements for company while providing guidance on an as needed basis.
Ø Act as compensation resource and business partner for HR Generalists and HR client groups to assess business or organizational need, review individual situations and provide advice.
Ø Investigate compensation issues thoroughly and see the issue through to resolution.
Ø Ensure ongoing improvement of Compensation and HR practices, processes, and systems / reports
Ø Conducting periodic audits
Ø Analyzing trends and existing practices and recommending improvements
Ø Leading compensation projects and acting as a key team member on other HR projects
Ø Partner with GVP HR on data and report projects, creating and implementing increased efficiencies through technology.
