JOB MISSION:
As the Organization Change Management Program Manager, you will consult with and coach various change leaders and work teams in support of successful organization transformation. You will help to build organization change capability and change-related associate skills to further the New Balance strategy. You will lead the creation of approaches and tools to help those leading change assess change readiness and the impact of change so that our business goals are met and our associates can be successful.

JOB MISSION:
As the Organization Change Management Program Manager, you will consult with and coach various change leaders and work teams in support of successful organization transformation. You will help to build organization change capability and change-related associate skills to further the New Balance strategy. You will lead the creation of approaches and tools to help those leading change assess change readiness and the impact of change so that our business goals are met and our associates can be successful.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Consult with and coach change leaders and project teams on the human and people-centered elements of the change management strategy.
- Conducts change and organization assessments including readiness, resourcing, stakeholder analysis, journey maps and change impact assessments to inform and monitor the change management strategy.
- Design change management interventions for individuals, teams or cross-functional groups to help raise awareness and inspiration, increase readiness, increase change adoption, and/or to remove obstacles to successfully realizing the intended changes. Conduct interviews and focus groups.
- Plans and facilitates conversations that build effectiveness in the interactive capabilities necessary for on-going transformation. Attune to the needs and interests of all stakeholders and ensure change efforts are inclusive with all voices heard.
- Conducts after-action reviews and ensures learnings from the change process are integrated into on-going business practices and future change approaches. Create thematic views across change efforts to help the organization understand gaps and opportunities for building greater transformation capability.
- Ensures the New Balance culture and values are reflected in change approaches and that approaches to change foster resilience, customer-focus, teamwork, and agility.
- Work hand in hand with strategic project managers to ensure project plans and timelines account for change activities.
- Work with HRBP, Talent Management, Learning and Development and other HR areas on skills assessments and skills-building plans in support of change so that associates are prepared and can operate successfully across the change journey.
- Partner closely with Internal Communications on the communications strategy and work as a liaison to ensure messages are tailored to change dynamics and that the communications plans are integrated throughout change management efforts.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- BA degree in human resources, business or related field; MBA a plus
- 7-10 years of experience in organization development, organization effectiveness or change management
- Experience in a global business environment strongly preferred
- Advanced interpersonal skills and proven ability to resolve conflict
- Persona and journey mapping experience helpful
