Accountant

Performs the tasks of processing journal entries for a reviewed trial balance with the comparison of actual expenses to forecast. Treasury management support for cash forecasting. Additional financial analysis for limited financial reporting and preparation of month end results.

• Create and post recurring and adjusting entries on a monthly basis
• Review and analyze accounting records to produce a reviewed trial balance of various entities.
• The preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Assume lead accounting role for smaller entities.
• Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Develop monthly forecasts.
• Develop annual budgets.
• Analyze financial results for completeness and accuracy.
• Variance analysis of financial results against forecast and budget.
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures for core processes.
• Monitor aging A/R and A/P to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Perform other duties and analysis as assigned by Controller

• To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
