Floral Route Driver/Territory Manager

Briarpatch Greenhouses is a wholesale plant nursery that focuses our services on florists and event planning organizations. We have a team of drivers that deliver tropical plants, indoor (green and blooming) plants, dish gardens and floral supplies straight to our customer’s doorstep. Briarpatch Greenhouses has been in operation for over 30 years and now under the ownership and direction of Rusty Putnam. Rusty and his team are a very proud company and strive for excellence in building relationships with and taking care of its customers.

DETAILS:

• This is a new position focused on bringing in new customers.
• The position requires you to have a Driver's License with clean record as you will be driving a company box truck.
• Loading and unloading plants into your truck or greenhouse.
• You must be professional and customer oriented as you will be building lasting relationships with these new customers.
• You will drive a predetermined route calling on customers daily. Greensboro to Raleigh.
• You must also be able to lift up to 20lbs as some of the ceramic gardens are heavy.
• Be technically savvy. Use of an iPad.
• No overnights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS diploma/GED minimum
• Driver's License
• Floral/plant experience is beneficial but not required
• Trustworthy/honest
• Coachable. Willing to learn numerous types of plants
• Time management skills a plus

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• $40K-$50K a year based on experience
• Health benefits available after 30 days. About 50% company paid for employee
• 401K available after 30 days with 3% company match
• Opportunity for advancement.
