About The Job
The Google Geo Platforms team is on a mission to leverage Google's geo assets to build a sustainable, Google-scale enterprise business. We work with developers across multiple industries (e.g. ride-sharing, auto, travel, retail) who use our products (Places APIs, Geo APIs, and Routes APIs) and solutions to build their own products.
Google Geo Platform provides real-world insights and immersive location data experiences to businesses encompassing the private and public sectors. On this team, you will drive Google Geo Platform business relationships by analyzing business performance, identifying methods of optimizing business development processes and Google returns, pitching your improvement proposals, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver.
As a Business Development Program Manager (PgM), you'll be responsible for working with our inbound sales team to optimize and increase our sales funnel by increasing the number of leads, driving increased and efficient conversions, and tracking the end-to-end sales cycle. You will also ideate and launch campaigns to drive customer retention and growth.
You'll create programs and processes that align with our sales strategy in an effort to increase sales and drive value. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, and GTM teams to create analytic dashboards that track usage and success metrics to drive effective and efficient business continuity. Working closely with partners and the internal business team, you will be expected to offer strategic advice, thought leadership, and day-to-day management in order to grow the scope of business of an assigned sales territory.

Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Google Geo Platform's product and ecosystem to ensure quality of engagement and identify training needs for our inbound sales team, and learn Cloud's partner ecosystem to keep sales teams and leadership informed of the solution.
- Shape Google Geo Platform's strategy for driving new business approach with stakeholders in Partner Programs, Product Management, Business, and Marketing. Support regional engagements with strategic global and regional partners
- Managing process creation, tool creation (engineering), demo building (design), and documentation to support and effectively scale business
- Define the scope and process, and train team members on execution of growth campaigns.
- Monitor and escalate trends or risks identified via inbound volumes or campaigns. Identify process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in sales support management or program management
- Cross functional experience with Project Management, Business Development, and Operations departments
- Experience in planning, monitoring, and managing risks/issues with program progress
- Experience with cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service markets.
- Strong operational, time & project management skills with exemplary communication skills
- Problem Solver and entrepreneurial spirit
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience creating or managing dashboards to track various metrics
- Experience collaborating with Marketing (including Demand Generation teams) and Sales
- Creating documentation and Support Flows (understanding timelines and communication)
- Experience in consultation or customer-facing role delivering enterprise software engagement
- Excellent partner/channel pipeline development and management skills, with proven ability to deliver Go-to-Market strategies
