GDIT is currently looking to hire a Database Architect for a Defense Threat Reduction Agency Operational Information Management System. The Database Architect will design the integration of data to provide accurate, timely information for the DTRA Operations Center. Performs engineering work associated with the design, development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructures for data generation as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. Designs, develops, and implements methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets, both structured and unstructured. Builds the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. Integrates data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards. Experiments with available tools and advises on new tools in order to determine optimal solutions given the requirements dictated by the model/use case. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * MS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
