Shop Foreman

Job Duties: Oversee and manage up to 35 shop floor employees that are fabricating on the day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Place production orders from customers
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ensure fabrication is to specifications and square
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet metal department production goals.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Welding, and fabrication experience
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills: Squaring, Leveling, Cutting, Machine setup, MIG welding, Pulse welding (a plus)
