Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children’s and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.

Job Description

The Driver is responsible for transporting Clients to and from destinations and ensuring Clients have all necessary paperwork/documents needed for appointments. The Driver will use a company vehicle to perform job-related duties. We offer sign-on bonuses and pay evaluation after satisfactory completion of a 90-day probationary period.

Job Duties

Receive and review all transports for the following day, the day prior to from the
Transportation Supervisor.
● Coordinate and manage time to ensure all Clients arrive at their appointments on time.
● Confirm wake up times for early transports with Transportation Supervisor.
● Check vehicle prior to transport to ensure the vehicle has gas, emergency kit, and water.
● Ensure all Clients being transported who will be off-site during perspective meal times have
the appropriate meal with them.
● Ensure all Clients being transported has the necessary prescribed meds with them for the
period of time scheduled to be off-site.
● Log all mileage in the transport log.
● Notify Transportation Supervisor regarding any issues during transport, including Client
behavior.
● Assist with Site duties as needed as assigned by Site Manager and/or Supervisor.

Required:
● High School Diploma or equivalent.
● 1 year minimum of customer service/ relevant experience
● Basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive emails and summarize data in
spreadsheets.
● Valid CA Driver’s License and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
Preferred:
● Bilingual in English and Spanish.
● Proficiency in Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
